So far things have been going pretty well. I have had some moments of uncertainty, but not as it relates to teaching our children. I agreed to help a friend with the education of her child, and with this came a few adjustments. It is very different having an additional child in the mix that is not a part of the immediate family. We had to battle some discipline issues, and I had to adjust my teaching style for her specific needs.
During this time of uncertainty, I diligently focused on the positive since there were plenty of times I would have rather pointed out all the things that "I" could not handle. I have been shown that when you offer yourself to someone that the "I" must step back, and work to make the situation better. Over the past few weeks, I have been working on being more patient, understanding, positive, and gentler. I will admit by me working on myself the days have been much peaceful and easier.

I admire you for serving your friend in this capacity. It is not an easy thing to do :) I will be praying for you as you continue to allow Jesus to shine through you and your girls while teaching another of God's blessings :)
