Last Day of 2011!

I can't believe 2011 is coming to an end, well, actually I can.  This year has gone by pretty fast.  It seems like all the days have gone by so fast.  I think fall lasted the longest out of all the seasons.

For me, 2011 has taught me quite a bit about myself and my family. The highlights of our year were:
  • My husband and I celebrated 8 years of marriage :)
  • We adopted Eva (1 year old Lab/Pit mix).  She is now two, and is teaching me a lot about patience, forgiveness, and consistency.  I swear I thought I knew a lot about these things, but I am learning more each day.
  • My husband and I learned more about financial responsibility, and how to be diligent with all God has blessed us with no matter how much that may be.
  • My sweetie graduated from college, and we both were so happy that it had finally come to an end.  There were some rough times in there, but we made it through.  The funny thing is the roughest times were during the last semester.
  • Of course the girls became one year older, and with each year there is more independence.  I appreciate their willingness to do a little more.  Dania has gotten into the habit of cleaning her room, and commanding others to respect their space.  Ramya is always helpful in the kitchen.  We have learned quite a few new recipes due to her desire to cook.
  • Personally, I have grown more with God, and I definitely I am blessed to be able participate in a bible study with women that help me along my journey.  He has definitely placed quite a few awesome people around me and my family, and for this I am grateful.
I hope you all have a wonderful New Year's Eve! I am so looking forward to 2012!

Be Blessed and be a Blessing :)
