In my life this week…The week started off with a busy schedule, but ended with the girls getting sick and I shortly followed behind. We did have a fun day celebrating our close friend's 3rd birthday.
In our homeschool this week…
We were pretty relaxed. There was less seatwork than normal, but I am sure the girls learned just as much as normal.

Places we’re going and people we’re seeing…
We won't see many people this weekend since we are all full of nasty germs. We will be resting so that next week can be better.
My favorite thing this week was…
An early morning conversation with Ramya. We were discussing a television character.
Ramya: This is for Dorothy.
Me: Who is Dorothy?
Ramya: She's on Elmo's World.
Me: Is Dorothy a girl?
Ramya: No, Dorothy's a boy.
Me: (exaggerated voice) Dorothy's a boy!
Ramya: No, she's a girl.
Me: (exaggerated) She's a girl!
Ramya: I'm confused!
I just love our morning talks, and how she uses words I don't realize that she knows.
What’s working/not working for us…
My busyness. I tend to volunteer for things that I shouldn't. It's not that I do not enjoy the things I volunteer for, but it effects other parts of my life.

I’m grateful for…
The time I have been given to think and reflect on choices I make. I can go forward with a better understanding when I take the time to think rather than rushing into a decision. I know sometimes time is not always on my side so I make a hurried decisions, and it doesn't work out as planned.
